If Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is hoping to pursue a player personnel career after he's done playing, he might want to take some notes first.

Humphrey revealed Wednesday on his podcast, "Punch Line With Marlon Humphrey," that he did not think Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was going to have a successful NFL career.

"When I first met Micah, I thought he was going to be trash. I'm not going to lie," Humphrey said. "I met him at a camp, and I was just like, 'This dude's complaining a lot. He seems lazy.'"

Why did Parsons seem lazy in Humphrey's eyes? Because Parsons said he didn't like to run.

"'Bro, I don't really do all that running bro. Running ain't for me,'" Humphrey said, imitating Parsons' attitude at the camp. "Then I was like, 'Yeah, that guy's got a long way coming. He's going to struggle in this league. Maybe like four, five years, this guy's going to struggle in the league, man.'"

Well, Parsons hasn't quite hit the four-year projection that Humphrey has put on his career, but with his motor and production, it doesn't seem as if his playing days will be over any time soon.

Parsons has become one of the best players in the NFL, racking up 29.5 sacks in 35 career games while being named a First Team All-Pro in each of his first two seasons.

"Now, I'm just like, 'For a guy that doesn't like running, he be running fast as crap,'" Humphrey said. "I think he might be one of the best in the league."

He didn't reveal who, but Humphrey said that there was a person in the room who overheard the conversation and was "hating," saying that Parsons is "overhyped."

"I had to ask myself, 'Am I riding Micah Parsons' coattails?'" Humphrey said. "Then I said, 'No, I'm not. He's a beast.'"
