3 Underrated Needs For Ravens In 2024 Offseason
Every organization outside those competing in Super Bowl LVIII has goals this offseason to improve the roster enough to get to next year's title game.
The Baltimore Ravens are no exception.

While obvious needs at tackle, wide receiver, and linebacker are expected to be addressed by general manager Ed DeCosta, there are other underrated moves the team could make to improve their standing as well.
Cornerback
You may not think that the cornerback position needs to be addressed but with injuries to both Marlon Humphrey and Brandon Stephens, the position is one to focus on.
Baltimore's pass defense was among the best in football this past season, but they can't expect to have the same kind of success without their secondary coach, defensive coordinator, or even the same defensive line coach.
Getting ahead of any potential injuries will be important.
Edge Rusher
Justin Madubuike is a free agent but most people expect the Pro Bowl tackle to be retained this offseason. Despite getting a top defensive player back, the Ravens should be looking to acquire an edge rusher this offseason who can get after the passer consistently.
Whether it's using their first-round pick on one, or signing a free agent like Derek Barnett and Chase Young would make a lot of sense. Both players are still young, have a lot to prove, and could come at a discount price.
Running back
J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards are free agents and the Ravens need a competent every-down runner to complement Jackson. They could look to bring one of their veteran players back, but the injuries both have sustained could lead them to look at other options.
Late-round draft selections or someone like Tony Pollard could fit the team's scheme well in 2024.
