News Graphic Has Chiefs Playing Wrong Ravens

A humorous visual gaffe from local Kansas City television station KMBC placed their beloved Kansas City Chiefs in the awkward spot of beating up on a local high school team, rather than the Baltimore Ravens, to get back to the Super Bowl.
In a graphic teasing Sunday's AFC Championship match, KMBC's local news broadcast placed the Chiefs' arrowhead logo next to that of Olathe Northwest, a Kansas high school team just a half hour away from Arrowhead Stadium and one that just so happens to also happens to go by an ornithological nickname.
The erroneous graphic was captured by Chiefs fan Farzin Vousoughian on X. While his post has since been deleted, the image was preserved by Alastair Talbot of the Daily Mail. The amateur Ravens' official account acknowledged the error and pinned a response to the top of it.
"We look forward to the challenge and thank you for the opportunity," ONHS football wrote, tagging the Chiefs in their response.
Located in Olathe, ONHS uses branding similar to that of the Ravens, though their logo's bird features a bit of a toothy grimace and employs blue rather than purple. The school's most notable alum is probably Willie Cauley-Stein, a men's basketball All-American at the University of Kentucky who played seven NBA seasons after being the sixth pick in the 2015 draft.
Kansas City fell just short of getting a chance to stay near Olathe: the Chiefs fell two games short of challenging Baltimore for top-seed honors in the AFC, falling beyond the top two slots for the first time since 2017. That was no problem for them last week, as they took down the Buffalo Bills by a 27-24 final in Orchard Park during the Divisional festivities.
