WATCH: Ravens Odell Beckham Shows He's Still Got It In Return

Even after missing last season recovering from his knee injury, Baltimore Ravens Odell Beckham Jr. showed he still has what it takes to play in the NFL in the win over the Houston Texans.

Odell Beckham Jr.'s debut as a Baltimore Raven was anticlimactic, to say the least. In the 25-9 win over the Houston Texans in the season-opener, Beckham, one of the Ravens newest weapons from the offseason, recorded just two catches for 37 yards.

Granted, when you put it all into context, it isn't surprising that Beckham didn't exactly jump off the screen for fans at home, as quarterback Lamar Jackson's first start coming off the knee injury that sidelined him last season saw him complete 17 of his 22 passes for 169 yards while throwing an interception.

While Beckham didn't exactly steal the show in his first game since tearing his ACL in the Los Angeles Super Bow LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals, that didn't stop him from flashing his abilities.

With the Ravens up 22-7 with 7:31 remaining in the fourth quarter, Jackson went to Beckham through the air on third-and-six for a 29-yard gain.

With the Ravens needing just six yards for the first down, Jackson's decision to throw to Beckham on a go-route could be considered bold. Yet, even after coming off the ACL injury that sidelined him for over a year, Beckham proved he still could take the top off a defense.

Not only did he proceed to get over the top of the defensive back after his release, but he also displayed his ability to track the ball over his shoulder as Jackson's ball placement led him away from the centerfield safety and toward the sideline.

While that Ravens drive didn't end with a touchdown, as they were held to a field goal, Beckham's catch is potentially a good sign of things to come.
