Ravens Odell Beckham Jr. to Cover Loss of Mark Andrews? 'Whatever Role, I'm Ready!'

The Baltimore Ravens lost Mark Andrews for the foreseeable future, and Odell Beckham Jr. is ready to step up in his absence.

The Baltimore Ravens lost All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews for the rest of the regular season, as his absence now leaves a big hole in Todd Monken's offense.

Andrews is Lamar Jackson's No. 1 target, and now, without him, Jackson will have to find an alternative - luckily, Odell Beckham Jr. is up for the challenge.

Against the Bengals in a 34-20 win, Beckham Jr. caught four passes for 116 yards as he produced his best game of the season.

And if he's called upon again? He'll answer the call.

"Whatever role, in any capacity, I'm ready to play it," Beckham said via the team's official website. "My entire career, early on might have been great for fantasy football, but when I go watch the highlights, it's third downs, it's big plays, it's plays as an effective football player. That's what I want to continue to be here, make big plays that keep the offense on the field, keep drives alive. I definitely won't mind taking a touchdown every now and then, but we have a real goal here and a big opportunity in front of us."

The Ravens travel to SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers as they look to maintain their position as the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

After an up-and-down start to the season, the Ravens have started to click in recent weeks as they now have the fourth-ranked offense for points scored per game (27.6) and, in two of their last three games, have had over 400 yards of total offense.

The Chargers defense has given up over 390 total yards in its last two games, so there is a vulnerability that the Ravens can exploit.

Even without Andrews, Baltimore "should" be able to put up points, and with Odell ready for "whatever role," we imagine that he will see his fair share of targets in his SoFi return on Sunday night.
