In 2017, when current Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was a member of the New York Giants, there was a picture out of him and some teammates on a yacht in Miami a week before they were scheduled to play the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.

The picture made the rounds on the internet, creating drama and distractions ahead of the playoff game. The Giants got embarrassed in the game, losing 38-13 to the Packers, eliminating New York from the postseason.

"My biggest regret about all of that is that incident allowed that to happen," Beckham Jr. said via the Punch Line Podcast. "Not that I went and had a good time on New Year’s. It’s that I put myself in a situation where this story could be used to create a distraction from what’s really going on."

Now, Beckham Jr. is playing for Baltimore on a one-year, $15 million contract and has an opportunity to help his team contend for a title.

This season with the Ravens, Beckham Jr. caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns while starting in six out of the 14 games he played. He hadn't played in a game in over a full year after he tore his ACL in a Super Bowl win with the Los Angeles Rams.

After fully recovering, he made the decision to play in Baltimore and now has a chance to push for another ring after it dominated the regular season with the best record in football.

The Ravens will be hosting the Houston Texans in the divisional round at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The winner will face off against either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship.
