The Baltimore Ravens boasted the best rushing attack in the NFL last season despite not employing a true No. 1 running back on the roster. General manager Eric DeCosta said that could change next season, as he'd like to find some help in the running game for quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was the team's leading rusher last year.

Three of those possible targets likely won't receive franchise tags from their respective teams.

Saquon Barkley Derrick Henry Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley and Tony Pollard are all expected to hit the open market in what will be one of the best marketplaces for running backs in a while.

The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to make a run at re-signing Jacobs, but not expected to tag him if they can't reach an agreement. Jacobs' franchise tag cost is $14,149,200.

The same is true for the New York Giants and Barkley, whose tag value is $12,109,200, and the Dallas Cowboys and Tony Pollard with the same tag cost.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is expected to be free, as is Los Angeles Chargers' ball carrier Austin Eckeler. Other backs that are expected to be free agents include the Ravens' own Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, as well as D'Andre Swift, AJ Dillon, Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Ezekiel Elliott and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
