Time For Ravens to Make 'Super Bowl Step' - Mark Andrews

The Ravens have added Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers to their offense and tight end Mark Andrews says the time is now to cash in and win a Super Bowl.

The time is now. That is the message from Baltimore Ravens All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews.

After an offseason that has seen the Baltimore offense be transformed with the re-signing of Lamar Jackson and the additions of Odell Beckham Jr., Nelson Agholor, and draftee Zay Flowers, coupled with the returning Rashod Bateman, the Ravens are loaded.

But with that type of talent, Andrews knows what is expected of this version of Baltimore...a Super Bowl.

"Obviously, I want to win a Super Bowl," Andrews said. "That's number one, I think this city, this place, this organization deserves that, and we've put a lot of work in. It's time for us to make that step."

That is a crowded receiving room with Beckham Jr. and Flowers joining an offense with Andrews, Devin Duvernay, Bateman, and Agholor.

Baltimore under Greg Roman was a traditionally run-heavy offense, but now with Todd Monken in charge with his more vertical offense, will there be enough balls to go around with such a talented offense?

"I don't really care," Andrews said. "I'm not one of those guys that cares about that, but I know that if all of us are doing our jobs, all of us are playing well, we don't have to worry about that type of thing. We're all going to make plays, we're all going to be happy for each other, and that's what makes a team great, the unselfishness."

That kind of mindset bodes well for the Ravens' offense. For Andrews, who has had back-to-back seasons of over 100 targets and over 70 receptions, he could be forgiven for thinking his production might decline with the recent additions.

But the fact he isn't worried speaks volumes about the player, and with more offensive help around him, all that matters is winning.

Will it end in a Super Bowl, as is Andrews' want? We will let the cake bake on that one, but on paper, the Ravens will be a must-watch this upcoming season.
