No quarterback? Big problems. The NFL is a quarterback-driven league and it's no secret that the best teams tend to be led by the best signal-callers.

Look at Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes for example. Even better for a franchise is to have long-term stability under center.

The Seattle Seahawks are tied for the NFL's top team in quarterback turnover rankings over the last decade, ranks CBS Sports.

The Seahawks have had two starting quarterbacks (Russell Wilson, Geno Smith) since the start of the 2013 season, which was tied for the fewest in the NFL. To qualify for this list, a quarterback had to start at least four games in a season for a team.

Wilson is the franchise's all-time leader in games played (158) and passing yards (37,059).

Smith's career resurgence last season helped Seattle to an unexpected postseason run. In 2022, Smith earned his first-ever Pro Bowl selection, lead the league in completion percentage and won the Comeback Player of the Year award.

In March, Smith and the Seahawks agreed to a new three-year contract worth $105 million. After leading the NFC with 30 touchdown passes, Smith hopes to continue his impressive play as Seattle reloads its roster to be legitimate playoff contenders

The Chiefs (Mahomes, Alex Smith) and Los Angeles Chargers (Justin Herbert, Phillip Rivers) are the other two teams that have also only had two quarterbacks start in the last 10 seasons. The reigning Super Bowl Champions Chiefs are favorites to again win the Lombardi Trophy with Mahomes on a 10-year lucrative contract.

Other teams with the most stable rankings have been buoyed by longtime franchise quarterbacks, like Aaron Rodgers (Packers), Matthew Stafford (Lions), Eli Manning (Giants) and Derek Carr (Raiders).

All in all, Seattle has got it pretty good when it comes to security and dependability at quarterback.
