Seahawks Reunion? Jarran Reed Wants Bobby Wagner Back: 'It's Home!'

After signing back with the Seattle Seahawks Jarran Reed said he'd like the idea of playing alongside Bobby Wagner again.

The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of revamping their defensive line, and in the process, they brought back former second-round pick Jarran Reed. It is a homecoming for Reed after spending the first five years of his career in Seattle.

Reed spoke with Seattle Sports’ Bump and Stacy on Tuesday and discussed his return to Seattle, along with offering his thoughts on the return of another former Seahawk, Bobby Wagner, who he played five seasons with in Seattle.

“Like I was telling everybody, it’s home,” Reed said. “I was drafted to Seattle, I played five years there and it was where I wanted to be. I was gone for a minute, but I’m back and it feels right. If we were to win anything, there’s no better place to do it than the place you started out at."

But like Seahawk fans, Reed is hoping he isn’t the only one to make a return to the "12th Man" this offseason.

“Of course. I mean, that’s a future Hall of Famer we’re talking about,” Reed said of a potential reunion with Wagner. “Who wouldn’t love to have him back in Seattle? That would be great. And hopefully he’ll want to come back, too.”

Wagner is once again a free agent after mutually parting ways with the Los Angeles Rams. A return to the Seahawks for Wagner would be a welcomed one, as shown by Reed's comments.
