Seahawks Select Georgia RB Kenny McIntosh at No. 237 in NFL Draft

The Seattle Seahawks have made their final pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, selecting Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh at No. 237.

The Seattle Seahawks have finally completed the "rare opportunity" that was represented by the 2023 NFL Draft, making their final pick at No. 237 by selecting Georgia Bulldogs running back Kenny McIntosh.

McIntosh was a key piece on a championship-winning team this past season, as he led the Bulldogs in rushing yards (829) and rushing touchdowns (10) while also finishing as the team's third-leading receiver. He's now the second running back taken by Seattle in this draft, joining UCLA's Zach Charbonnet, who went off the board in the second round.

"A high-cut back that carries his weight as well as he does the ball, McIntosh occupies Georgia's backfield with a chance to catapult himself atop the running back class," SI's NFL Draft Bible said of McIntosh.

Here's some of what Draft Bible had to say about the Georgia standout on his scouting report:

Taller back with chiseled musculature. One cut runner with substantial lower body fluidity. Quick in small spaces, with agile cuts and darts between tackles. Subtle feet that bring a springy element to his game. Willing and able to garner the tough yards. Not afraid of a pile and will drop his shoulder into a crowd. Feet and legs consistently churn, enabling him to fall forward on the bulk of his carries. Quick decision-maker that parlays his vision into open field burst. Shows the capability to be a three-down back, both as a receiver and pass protector. Natural hands that cradle the ball.

The Seahawks now have two talented rookie running backs behind Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas headed into the 2023 season.
