Oct 22, 2023; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker (55) returns

The full list of new players and their jersey numbers is as follows:

LB Tyrel Dodson - No. 0

S Rayshawn Jenkins - No. 2

QB Sam Howell - No. 6

LB Jerome Baker - No. 17

S K'Von Wallace - No. 24

C Nick Harris - No. 56

OT Max Pircher - No. 69

G Tremayne Anchrum Jr. - No. 73

OT George Fant - No. 74

WR Laviska Shenault Jr. - No. 81

TE Pharaoh Brown - No. 86

DT Johnathan Hankins - No. 97

A good chunk of these players chose to stick with the jersey numbers they already had with other teams, but there are a few notable exceptions.

For instance, Howell switched from No. 14 to No. 6, as the number he wore with the Washington Commanders is already held by Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf. Other players to change numbers include Dodson, Baker, Wallace, Harris, Anchrum, Shenault and Hankins. Fant is also technically on the list as he wore No. 77 with the Houston Texans last season, but he wore No. 74 during his previous stint with the Seahawks from 2016-2019.

The Seahawks also announced that Easop Winston Jr., who wore No. 86 last season, has switched to No. 13 for the upcoming season.
