Russell Wilson Reunites with Pete Carroll, Former Seahawks: 'Celebrating You!'
Regardless of how things ended, it’s all love between Russell Willson and Pete Carroll.
The Denver Broncos quarterback and former Seattle Seahawks star made sure to reunite with Carroll and past teammates after it was announced Wednesday that the 74-year-old head coach would no longer be at the helm following a 14-year run.

Early Thursday morning, Wilson posted what will be a memorable picture for Seahawks fans. He and former teammates like Tyler Lockett, Kam Chancellor, Bobby Wagner, Richard Sherman and more all came to see Carroll.
"Grateful for you! Fun Celebrating you tonight and all the memories!" Wilson tweeted.

Wilson and Carroll established themselves as NFL greats together. A third-round pick, Wilson exceeded expectations under Carroll, helping the Seahawks win their first-ever Super Bowl in the 2013 season before falling in the big game a year later. Back-to-back trips to the Super Bowl and a ring along with multiple seasons of success made it seem like Wilson and Carroll would end their NFL careers in Seattle together.
But of course, it's now been almost two years since Wilson was traded to Denver where he has regressed from the elite form he had in Seattle. The Broncos improved this season under Sean Payton and had some memorable moments with Wilson at the helm, but were ultimately unable to make the playoffs at 8-9 despite winning five straight games after a 1-5 start.
Wilson was benched by Payton late in the season and now has an unclear future in Denver headed into his age-36 season.
