It's too early to put all this gas on the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns did a whole lot this offseason, but it's July, which means it's way too early to crown them anything.

Odell Beckham Jr., Kareem Hunt and Baker Mayfield sound like a dominant offense. The defense continues to get better with each draft. The Cleveland Browns are heading in the right direction, on paper. But even if this translates to the field, there's nothing saying it's time to hand them a Lombardi.

We've seen this before - the New York Jets doing it last. A team gets everything they possibly can as quickly as possible. Then, they use the talent o have an incredible season. The difference between the first 16 games and the last four is experience. Ask Tom Brady.

You can say this - the Browns have done it better financially. The roster moves they've made have come with length in contract. Plus, they've drafted as well as any team in the league. The longevity of Cleveland's success may be serious. Until they prove it, though, there's nothing to get up in arms about.
