Tuesday evening, the Carolina Panthers agreed to trade cornerback Donte Jackson and the 178th overall pick in this year's draft to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for wide receiver Diontae Johnson and the 240th overall pick, according to Joe Person of The Athletic.

Johnson, 27, had 51 receptions for 717 yards and five touchdowns this year which are pretty strong numbers considering the game of musical chairs the Steelers played at quarterback this season.

In 2021, Johnson crossed the 1,000-yard mark with 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns on 107 receptions. For his career, he's logged 391 catches for 4,363 yards and 25 scores.

Johnson is on the final year of his deal and is scheduled to have a base salary of $7M. He'll carry a cap hit of $10M.
