Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. Named Suspect in Assault Investigation

Baltimore Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is being investigated for an incident involving a woman at a L.A. hotspot.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers' newest foe, and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been named a suspect in an assault investigation for an incident that occurred in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

According to the report, a woman told police that Beckham put his hands "around her neck" at local hotspot Delilah. OBJ went up to the woman and grabbed her throat with "light pressure." The two reportedly stayed at the venue throughout the night after the incident.

A few days later, she met with the police and filed a report.

According to TMZ, Beckham's representative "vehemently denied" the claims by the woman and that the claims were bogus.

Beckham just signed a $18 million deal with the Ravens and is set to be the team's top receiver this season. Baltimore is still unsure about their quarterback situation as Lamar Jackson has not signed his non-exclusive franchise tag and has publicly requested a trade.
