George Pickens Pulls Back on Steelers Drama

The Pittsburgh Steelers wideout appears to have calmed headlines surrounding him.

PITTSBURGH -- Following the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans, there appeared to be some drama brewing between the team and their star wide receiver George Pickens. But after some action on his social media caught the eyes of media and fans, he appears to be settling any worries some had.

Originally, Pickens deleted all pictures associated with the Steelers on his Instagram. He also posted "free me" on his IG story, and it was speculated that he unfollowed the team, head coach Mike Tomlin and quarterback Kenny Pickett.

But things have since settled. Pickens reposted some of his Steelers content, including a post of highlights that featured him and Pickett.

It's not confirmed that the wideout has any issues with the organization or his quarterback. Over the last two games, Pickett has caught three passes for 21 yards and a touchdown. However, against the Titans, he caught two passes for -1 yards.

This season, Pickens has three 100-yard games and has caught 30 passes for 521 yards and three touchdowns.
