Steelers News: Ravens Land Jadeveon Clowney

The Baltimore Ravens bring the former first-overall pick back to the AFC North.

PITTSBURGH -- The AFC North just got a little tougher for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the Baltimore Ravens land free agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney.

According to The Score's Jordan Schultz, the Ravens and Clowney have agreed to a new deal. Clowney, 30, joins his second AFC North team after spending the last two seasons with the Browns. The former first-overall pick recorded 11 sacks and 23 QB hits during his time in Cleveland.

Clowney beefs up a Ravens defensive end group that already includes young talent in David Ojabo, Odafe Oweh, Tavius Robinson, and Tyson Bowser. The team has been in the market for a pass-rusher, hosting meetings with other free agents such as Kyle Van Noy.

Clowney should have a strong chance to start for Baltimore this season.

The Steelers host the Ravens in Week 5 and travel to Baltimore in Week 18.
