PITTSBURGH -- Around midnight ET on Wednesday, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cam Sutton left some cryptic messages for fans, leaving many to believe his time with the team has come to an end.

Sutton posted three pictures on his Instagram story, one with a "peace" emoji and the other saying, "stay tuned." He ended his story by saying, "yessirr."

Prior to the social media posts, there has been no indication that the Steelers were looking to move Sutton. The fourth-year cornerback is playing on the last year of his rookie contract. This season, he's recorded eight tackles, a sack, three pass deflections, and an interception through six games this season.

Sutton stepped in to replace an injured Mike Hilton against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. Despite only starting one game, he's played 127 defensive snaps this season, filling in at cornerback, safety and even linebacker.

He's also a weekly contributor on special teams, playing 41% of the Steelers' snaps this season.

The team has not made an official announcement on whether or not a move has been made.

Update: The Athletic's Mark Kaboly reported the team does not hold interest in trading Sutton.

Cam Sutton participated in Steelers' practice on Wednesday.
