Steelers Get Health Boost Before Bills Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers look pretty good on their injury report heading into the Wild Card round.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers' injury report looked much better on Day 2 of preparation as they continued preparation for the Buffalo Bills. As they moved closer to the Wild Card matchup, the team had everyone - except outside linebacker T.J. Watt - back on the practice field.

To start the week, the Steelers were missing running back Najee Harris (knee), guard Isaac Seumalo (shoulder) and Watt (knee). With Watt already ruled out after suffering a grade 2 MCL sprain in Week 18, the team was monitoring Harris and Seumalo, who were both full participants on Day 2.

The only Steeler outside of Watt to miss practice time was defensive tackle Cam Heyward, who was limited due to a resting day. He was also limited yesterday but has been dealing with a lingering groin injury and underwent core muscle surgery early in the season. He hasn't missed a game since but has been cautious about his work during the weeks leading up to games.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) remains a full participant as he looks to return to the field for the first time since Week 15. Inside linebacker Elandon Roberts (pectoral) was also a full participant after being limited yesterday. They were the two injuries to watch during the week, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

The Steelers will hold one more practice and a walk-through before heading to Orchard Park for their first playoff game. They'll release their final injury report tomorrow.
