Steelers Hit With Second Injury in Week 1

The Pittsburgh Steelers defensive line has injury concerns heading into Week 1.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are now dealing with two injuries to their defensive line as they continue preparation for Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Steelers started the week with one injury in Larry Ogunjobi, who was limited in practice due to a foot ailment. The defensive end missed all of the preseason because of the injury after hurting his foot the day before the preseason opener.

He remained a limited participant on the second day of practice, but the team feels optimistic he'll be ready to go by the game.

Cam Heyward added himself to the injury report due to a stomach issue. It's unknown what the issue is or whether or not it was suffered during practice. He was limited with a veterans day off on the first day of preparation and then limited a second day because of the stomach injury.

The Steelers will hold one more practice and then a walk-through before they head to Acrisure Stadium to host the 49ers. They'll release their final injury report after their next practice.
