Steelers Rival Joe Burrow Carted Off Field After Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers biggest rival QB, Joe Burrow, went down during Cincinnati Bengals training camp.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers and the rest of the AFC got hit with major news as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has reportedly suffered a leg injury during training camp practice.

Videos have emerged of Burrow being carted off the field after being helped onto the trainer's cart. According to USA Today's Kelsey Conway, he was grabbing his calf when he went down with the injury.

Burrow suffered an ACL injury during the 2020 season. Since then, he's dealt with a ruptured apendix but hasn't missed time due to injury during the regular season.

The Bengals have yet to announce the extent of the injury. So far, speculation by reporters is claiming it could be a calf or a hamstring injury.

The Bengals will have to rely on Trevor Simeion and Jake Browning at quarterback if Burrow has to miss time.

All Steelers will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.

UPDATE: Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirms it is a calf injury for Burrow.
