Donte Moncrief inactive

Donte Moncrief will not play this week for the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting benched for Diontae Johnson on Thursday. The wide receiver may have the worst hands of the season and until Mike Tomlin sees a change, Moncrief isn't going to be an active member of this roster anytime soon.

Noah's Reaction - Moncrief should've been benched after week one. His lack of reliability isn't just alarming, it's threatening to the success of this team. With him on the field there's a constant worry he's going to drop the ball. There's no need for him in this receiver rotation right now.

Mason Rudolph is here

Mason Rudolph is in the building and on the field. The first-time starter is about to lead the Steelers offense for the first time through an entire regular season game.

Noah's Reaction - Let the Mason Rudolph era begin. Not that it'll last longer than this season, at this point, but it is exciting to see what this quarterback can do. He played well when thrown in last week and hopefully can build off that. A win today can really boost the moral of this locker room.

Steelers Inactives

The Steelers will be without Vince Williams or Rosie Nix this week as they try to overcome the 49ers on the road. Donte Moncrief will also be inactive due to a coach's decision.

Noah's reaction - Without Vince Williams, the linebackers are going to be strong against the pass. Devin Bush will get the green dot for the second week in a row. He and Mark Barron will see almost all the action.

Anthony Chickillo's absence means it's finally time to see what Ola Adeniyi can do during the regular season. It's been a highly anticipated wait to see what he can bring to the pass rush.
