Steelers Announce First Dates of Offseason Workouts

The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to hit the field next month.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their 2024 offseason program dates, setting up their Organized Team Activities and mini camp dates for the spring.

The Steelers will begin their offseason program on April 15, kicking off their 2024 season. From there, they'll host OTAs from May 21-23, May 28-30, and then June 3-6.

Mini camp will be held June 11 and run through June 13.

The Steelers will answer a few questions about player's roles during their OTAs and mini camp period, but for fans, it's really just the first opportunity to see highlights of Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, Patrick Queen and the rest of the new signees. Plus the entire NFL Draft class.

OTAs and not mandatory, meaning veterans and rookies do not need to attend. Still, most players show up during this time, and without any expected contract holdouts, Pittsburgh should have a good chunk of their roster at Rooney Sports Complex in South Side.

Mini camp is mandatory, marking the first time the entire 90-man roster is on the field for the Steelers this season.
