Steven Nelson, Jimmie Ward and Jonathan Greenard All Injured vs. Browns

The Houston Texans have suffered a couple of key injuries early vs. the Cleveland Browns.

The Houston Texans are facing a must-win scenario against the Cleveland Browns at NRG Stadium on Sunday.

Unfortunately for the Texans, they have suffered a couple of early setbacks in the injury department in the first quarter that could play a huge role in the outcome.

The first player to go down for the Texans was defensive end Jonathan Greenard, who suffered an apparent lower-body injury on the initial Browns offensive drive. Greenard exited the game and was seen getting taped on the sidelines, but has yet to return to the game.

He currently leads the team in sacks by an overwhelming margin with 12.5 sacks. Greenard is currently questionable to return.

On top of that, however, the Texans have also lost a pair of starters in the secondary, with Jimmie Ward exiting the game with a quad injury, and corner Steven Nelson suffering a foot injury.

Ward has been dealing with injuries over the last couple of weeks and has been banged up yet again. Nelson, meanwhile went to the locker room for further evaluation and is now in the blue injury tent.

Both defensive backs are currently questionable to return as well.

At the time of the injuries, the Texans currently trail the Browns 7-0 in the first quarter.
