Multiple Houston Texans Upgraded to Full Participation in Injury Report

The Houston Texans had a lengthy injury report on Thursday, but they had multiple players improve to a full participation role in practice.

The Houston Texans are banged up at spots on the roster, but it looks like some of their injury fortunes could be improving prior to the team's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

DE Will Anderson (knee), DT Kurt Hinish (knee), G-T Tytus Howard (knee), TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring), LT Laremy Tunsil (knee), and WR Robert Woods (foot) were upgraded to full participation on Thursday, according to the team's injury report. You can view the entire report here.

WR Noah Brown (knee), LB Jake Hansen (hamstring/hand), RB Dameon Pierce (ankle), LB Henry To’oTo’o (concussion), and S Jimmie Ward (hamstring) were still non-participants in practice, and multiple other players landed in the "limited" category, including OT George Fant (hip).

Even with injuries piling up at the midway point of the season, the Texans' momentum hasn't slowed. Winners of two straight, Houston is fresh off a win over the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, a team that fell again on Thursday night to the Baltimore Ravens. It's a promising sign, however, that Dalton Schultz is improving, providing another security blanket for young quarterback C.J. Stroud in the passing game.

The Cardinals may not appear to be as daunting a task as the Bengals, but it's possible that the Week 11 matchup could be a "trap game" for the Texans who are riding high and catching some notice around the NFL. Arizona also got its quarterback back last week in Kyler Murray, a game that saw his team take down the Atlanta Falcons at home on Sunday.

In order for Houston to pick up a third straight win this week, it will need to avoid a letdown similar to the one it experienced after its bye week when it fell to the then-winless Carolina Panthers.

This week's game between Houston and Arizona is set for 12 p.m. CT, and it will be televised on CBS.
