Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden remains one of the most prominent personalities in the NFL. The former Monday Night Football analyst captivated audiences with his big personality, and he did it again on Wednesday.

With the Houston Texans are set to face the Raiders this Sunday at NRG Stadium. Gruden held his conference call with the Houston media and spoke highly of Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

"Everybody that meets Watson likes Watson” Gruden explained in his conference call. “I get accused of liking everybody, you know that, but if you don't like Deshaun Watson, you don't like anybody. You're a miserable human being if you don't like this kid. The room lights up when he walks in. He's charismatic. You love where he came from, you love how hard he's worked to get to where he is, and he's never lost his family and where he came from. He's just a great, great person and unfortunately for us, he's really turned into an all-around superstar quarterback.”

Watson has led the Texans to a 4-3 record this season and had them in the middle of an AFC South race for another appearance in the playoffs.

The Texans have an important AFC conference matchup with the Raiders this Sunday, but that did not stop Gruden from making sure everyone knows that Watson is one reason why NFL football is fun to watch.

Gruden continued, “He's throwing the ball better than I've ever seen him throw it, and he's still a real threat to run and they can be creative with the playbook because of his skillset."
