F1 Notes: Mercedes Could Back Alonso, Verstappen Unhappy With Qualifying Change, and Lando Comments On Losing Ricciardo

There is a lot going on in the F1 World after the Bahrain Grand Prix kicked off the 2023 season on 5 March. Red Bull has started the year off in the right way starting the opening race with a front-row lock-out with Max Verstappen in pole position and Sergio Perez beside him in second. The pair went on to finish the race in the same positions propelling the Austrian team ahead in the drivers' and constructors' standings.
Aston Martin also had a fantastic start to the year with Fernando Alonso finishing the Bahrain GP in third place. Mercedes are struggling with the W14 cars as well as Ferrari and McLaren.
