McLaren Fans Scathe Team As Frustration Mounts: "Loser Team"

McLaren fans have once again hit out at the team for their troublesome start to the 2023 season.
Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been out of the points in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Piastri was forced to retire from the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix with electrical issues whilst Norris ended up having to pit six times with a pneumatic leak.
Moving on to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, both Norris and Piastri suffered from damage to their MCL60s and finished in seventeenth and fifteenth, respectively.
The British team has today revealed a new partner for the 2023 season. However, despite the financial benefits this will bring to the team, fans have used the opportunity to hit out at the team as frustration is building.
One fan wrote, bluntly:
"More sponsors then points"
More sponsors then points 💀

Another fan responded:
"If you spent as much time developing the car instead of collecting sponsorships like pokemon you’d have have another opportunity to be competitive"

Someone else went straight to the point, calling for the team to get some points on the board. They wrote:
"When will we also see some points on the board?"

Another Twitter user did not hold back at all branding McLaren a "loser team". They wrote:
"I don't understand why would so many companies partner up with a loser team which already have thousands of sponsors already so they will become another on the list and become unnoticable..."
