Singapore GP Results: Charles Leclerc Goes Fastest In FP1

The results of the first free practice session ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc put in the fastest time during the first free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. 

Following the Monegasque driver were Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen who put in the second and third fastest times, respectively.

The session remained dry and fairly drama free until a lizard made its way onto the track causing a yellow flag in sector two just after Turn 8 - not a sentence I thought I would be writing today. This then happened a further two times resulting in two more yellow flags in the session.

Max Verstappen could be heard complaining of downshift issues throughout the session, however, it is expected that the Red Bull team will be able to rectify this before qualifying tomorrow.
