2026 Fantasy Football Kickers Rankings: Tyler Loop, Blake Grupe Search for Relevancy

The latest kicks rankings have been updated to the current leading candidates to start for all 32 NFL teams, ordered based on skill and opportunity.

NFL Cutdown Day has come and gone. One of the more affected position groups is the special teams. Kicker jobs have been in flux amid poor preseasons. It has led to turnover at the position, notably with the Jets signing Blake Grupe and the Ravens raising uncertainty about Tyler Loop's future. As of September 1, these are the current 32 NFL team kickers and just how they should be ranked on your fantasy football big board.

Tier 1 — The Best of the Best

1. Brandon Aubrey (DAL)
2. Cameron Dicker (LAC)
3. Eddy Pineiro (SF)
4. Harrison Mevis (LAR)

The kickers are the most sure things. Dicker, Pineiro, and Mevis were all more than 90% accurate in 2025. Aubrey was not, but all his misses came from long distance. He is the NFL's best kicker, and in doing so, Aubrey is among all 4 the four kickers on elite offenses.

Tier 2 — Tremendous Upside

5. Ka'imi Faibairn (HOU)
6. Chase McLaughlin (TB)
7. Harrison Butker (KC)
8. Evan McPherson (CIN)
9. Jake Bates (DET)
10. Jason Myers (SEA)
11. Will Reichard (MIN)
12. Cam Little (JAX)

All of these kickers have proven to be of high caliber. Their offenses all have the ability to be top-5 in the NFL if all goes right. They feature favorable season-long kicking conditions whether indoors or in warmer weather.

I believe in the theory that a smart fantasy managers will hold off on prioritizing a kicker. Each and every week, the position can be streamed if need be. The top factors in a great kicking performance, aside from skill, are the offensive matchup and kicking conditions. A mid-tier name can easily finish top-5 in any week. Just as easily, someone like Aubrey can struggle in a bad matchup.

In 2025, top-ranked kickers (FPPG) featured expected names such as Ben Sauls, Spencer Shrader, and Harrison Mevis, who was cut by the Jets earlier that season.

Tier 3 — Your Weekly Streamers

13. Tyler Bass (BUF)
14. Wil Lutz (DEN)
15. Andy Borregales (NE)
16. Spencer Shrader (IND)
17. Chris Boswell (PIT)
18. Tyler Loop (BAL)
19. Cairo Santos (CHI)

These kickers have been devalued due to middling kicking ability and mediocre offenses.

Loop is in the hot seat right now in Baltimore. He did cost the Ravens an advancement towards playoff glory with a missed game-winner in Week 18 against the Steelers. Loop is also just 5-for-8 in the preseason, triggering the Ravens to sign Jake Moody. Loop still has the upper hand.

The highest upside options among Tier 3 include Lutz, who was 28-for-32 in 2025 and kicks from a Mile High. I also like Santos, who could be on a top-5 offense, as Ben Johnson is willing. Santos was 14-for-18 in 40+ yard kicks last season.

Tier 4 — Undesirable Free Agents

20. Trey Smack (GB)
21. Daniel Carlson (NO)
22. Jake Elliott (PHI)
23. Nick Folk (ATL)
24. Matt Gay (LV)

If any kicker here has upside, it is Smack. The rookie Packer was rarer draft pick at the position. The Packers do not have the most favorable kicking conditions at Lambeau Field, but they are a top-5 NFL offense.

Tier 5 — Not Even Worth a Rainy Day

25. Drew Stevens (WAS)
26. Ryan Fitzgerald (CAR)
27. Joey Slye (TEN)
28. Riley Patterson (MIA)
29. Chad Ryland (ARZ)
30. Dominic Zvada (NYG)
31. Andre Szymt (CLE)

For a position that will be drafted without a backup, these kickers lack any worthwhile upside down the board. They will all be owned <10%.
