Taylor Fritz Upset by Lorenzo Musetti in Wimbledon Quarterfinals

Taylor Fritz has never made it to a Grand Slam Semifinals, and today was his best shot. Unfortunately for Fritz, he was upset by Lorenzo Musetti. Fritz is now 0-4 in Grand Slam Quarterfinals.
Musetti stunned Fritz in five sets: 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-2, 3-6, 6-1. To make matters worse, Fritz went down with a knee injury before the final play of the match. The 26-year-old walked it off before finishing the match.

Meanwhile, today's match is the biggest victory in the career of 22-year-old Musetti. After the match, Musetti was transparent about his thought process entering the tournament.
Musetti said, "We were joking with my team about trying to play on the big stage at Wimbledon. I had never tried Court 1. To walk on this amazing stadium was really an honor for me. I think I played a really fantastic match."

He continued, "Taylor was in great shape. Really really happy to be in my first semifinal here. Thanks to my team and all my friends who came from my hometown to support me."
