Nike Launches New Carlos Alcaraz Commercial for Wimbledon

Wimbledon officially starts on Monday, and everyone is ready for the iconic grass court Grand Slam. That includes all the major sportswear brands.
With all eyes on the feet of tennis players sliding around on grass for the next few weeks, Nike is using the opportunity to elevate one of its rising stars. The American company recently launched a new commercial starring World No. 2 men's player Carlos Alcaraz.
A more relaxed and stylish side of Alcaraz is shown in the 15-second video. In fact, there was little emphasis on tennis. Check out the social media post below to see the quick advertisement.

Alcaraz says in the video, "I would describe my style off the court as very natural. I always start with the Swoosh - with the sneakers. I love to wear Dunks. I really want to be comfortable. That, for me, is the most important thing."
The advertisement is short, sweet, and to the point. It is also the beginning of Nike building around Alcaraz. Earlier this month, Nike and Alcaraz agreed a massive multi-year contract extension. The new deal includes a signature logo with the company.
Alcaraz won Wimbledon last year and is fresh off a French Open victory. However, he faces an uphill battle at Wimbledon this year. Tennis fans can follow Sports Illustrated's Serve on SI for all the most important news from the sport.
