The No. 3 Florida Gators are host an NCAA Regional for the 19th  time at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

Joining Florida in the Gainesville Regional will be Florida Atlantic, Mercer, and Georgia Tech.

* Games times are in Eastern Time.

Friday

Game 1 – Georgia Tech 4, Florida Atlantic 5

Kiley Shelton's single in the bottom of the eighth scored Destiny Johns, and the Florida Atlantic Owls walked off the Georgia Tech Jackets in extra innings.

Bella Cimino and Ciara Gibson both homered for the Owls and Autumn Courtney earned the win.

Courtney pitched 6.1 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks. She also struck out seven.

Game 2 – Florida 8, Mercer 0

Mia Williams drove in three runs on two doubles, and Taylor Shumaker tied a freshman record with her 19th home run of the season, as the Florida Gators run-ruled the Mercer Bears in five innings.

Jocelyn Erickson and Williams led the Gators with two hits each. Erickson also scored two runs.

Ava Brown earned the win, pitching 2.1 innings in relief. She allowed two hits and struck out two.

Saturday

Game 3 – FAU 6, Florida 14

In the Gainesville regional winners bracket, Florida defeated FAU handily off the long ball. The two teams combined to hit six home runs, with the Gators blasting four of them.

Freshman Taylor Shumaker was 2-for-2 with two home runs, three runs scored, and five RBIs. She is having a record year and broke the program record for freshman home runs in a single season. Her 21 long balls are now one shy of the single-season record of 22.

FAU pitcher Ainsley Lambert walked in a run and a grand slam from catcher Jocelyn Erickson cushioned the Gators' lead 14-6 and cemented the win.

Game 4 – Georgia Tech 3, Mercer 7

The Mercer Bears strung multiple singles and walks together in the first, third, and fourth innings, allowing them to run away from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and boot them out of the regional

After Mercer scored four in the first, Georgia Tech's Alyssa Willer singled in a run to get the Jackets on the board. Gracyn Tucker drove in a pair in the fifth thanks to a throwing errors by Mercer outfielder Tori Hedgecock.

Hannah Pitts and Grace Taylor combined to allow only three hits, one walk, and struck out two batters in the contest.

Game 5 – 5 p.m. Mercer 7, FAU 0

In a shocking turn of events, Mercer pushed past 24th-ranked FAU Owls, who had an RPI of 31 this year, removing them from the tournament and postseason.

The Bears got on the board scoring a pair of runs in the first inning. They went on to score four in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Mercer pitcher Gabby Ellis won her 11th game of the season, giving up seven hits, four walks and one strikeout.

Sunday

Game 6 - Florida 8, Mercer 0

Hot bats and a lights-out performance from Kegan Rothrock in the circle propelled the Gators to victory. Early RBIs from Jocelyn Erickson, Mia Williams, and Kenleigh Cahalan made plenty of noise, but Ava Brown’s three-run homer plus an RBI from Reagan Walsh tacked on enough to get the job done in five innings.

Rothrock allowed one hit and six strikeouts in 4.1 innings of play.
