Caitlin Clark's Gift Leaves Young Fever Fan With Huge Smile After Win

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has asserted her childhood adoration for WNBA legend Maya Moore multiple times over the years.
One of Clark's core memories as a young girl was a hug that she shared with Moore after a Minnesota Lynx game. While Moore admits she doesn't remember this specific moment, it made a major impact on Clark and helped shape the former Iowa Hawkeye's basketball future.
Now that Clark is in the same position that Moore was in back when Clark was growing up, the 22-year-old global superstar now recycles Moore's generosity by making a similar effort with her young fans.
This was shown once again after the Fever's 84-79 win over the Atlanta Dream on Monday when Clark gifted a young fan a signed pair of her game-worn shoes before heading back into Indiana's locker room.
The Fever's X account posted a video of Clark signing and handing her shoes over to the fan with the caption, "the feeling when you get Caitlin Clark's autographed game worn shoes," along with a teary-eyed and a heart emoji.

The fan did appear to be on the verge of tears upon receiving his heroes' shoes.
Then a photo of the same fan surfaced on X after the game, where the kid could be seen with a wide smile, cradling this coveted gift from Clark.

This fan's massive smile depicts must be a highlight of his life to this point.
And perhaps this gift from Clark will motivate this fan in the same way it did for Clark when she met Maya Moore all those years ago.
