Sunderland make the trip to Lancashire to face Tony Mowbray's former employers Blackburn Rovers tonight.

The Black Cats are looking for a fourth win in five in the Championship, having picked up their form following a slow start to the campaign.

Last time out, Sunderland won 3-1 away at QPR whilst Blackburn Rovers overcame Middlesbrough 2-1 at home.

Ahead of tonight, Sunderland sit in 9th place of the Championship table whilst Blackburn Rovers sit in 10th.

Who are the match officials?

The referee tonight is John Busby.

The last Sunderland game that he oversaw was a 2-1 win at West Brom back in April, which saw three yellow cards for either side and a penalty for the Black Cats.
