Sunderland predicted line-up to face Cardiff City: New signing cleared to play

Sunderland host Cardiff City in the Championship this weekend.
Sunderland return to the Stadium of Light after two successful away outings; a 3-1 win at QPR last weekend followed by a 3-1 win at Blackburn Rovers in midweek.
Tony Mowbray’s side now sit in 4th place of the Championship table after winning their last three and not losing in five, whilst Cardiff City find themselves in 10th.
The bluebirds have won four of their last five in all competitions to move up the table under boss Erol Bulut, who oversaw a 3-2 win over Coventry City in midweek.
Sunderland team news
As per Chronicle Live, Sunderland are without a few first-team players tomorrow.
Bradley Dack and Dennis Cirkin are both out with hamstring injuries, whilst Jewison Bennette is yet to return to training after a bout of illness.
Nazariy Rusyn has been given his visa to start playing for Sunderland, though Mowbray played down the chances of him featuring this weekend.
Pierre Ekwah is still suffering from a leg injury whilst Aji Alese, Corry Evans, and Jay Matete remain longer-term absentees.
Predicted line up
After another impressive performance in midweek, and with the likes of Dack, Cirkin, and Ekwah still out, expect an unchanged line up from the side that beat Blackburn.
