David Prutton shares Championship play-off prediction as Sunderland head to Preston

Sunderland enter into a 2022/23 final day thriller, with the Black Cats needing a win to stand a chance of moving into the top-six.
Sunderland sit in 7th place of the table ahead of Monday's finale.
Millwall sit in 6th and two points ahead of Sunderland, with Coventry City in 5th and a point ahead of Millwall.
But level on points with Sunderland are West Brom and Blackburn Rovers and so who might nick 5th and 6th in the Championship and qualify for the play-offs, really is anyone's guess.
Monday sees all 24 Championship sides in action. Millwall host Blackburn, West Brom travel to an in form Swansea City, whilst Coventry City head to Middlesbrough.
Saying how he thinks the play-off picture will pan out, Sky Sports pundit David Prutton wrote:
"Sunderland and West Brom will be lying in wait, hopeful of a Millwall slip-up, and a victory that could see them claw their way into the top six.
"It is so tough to call, but I do think that Millwall will be held by Blackburn. It just has that feel for me. A result that will do nothing for either, and potentially a frantic final 15 as both push for the win

"That leaves Sunderland with the chance to nip in above Millwall. I just have an inkling they could."
Sunderland have gained many plaudits since their return to the Championship. And it's not unwarranted - they've played some fantastic football under Tony Mowbray and they stand a very good chance of beating Preston on Monday.
The game kicks off at 3pm.
