Sunderland host Rotherham United in the Championship tomorrow, with the Black Cats looking for their first win of the season.

So far for Tony Mowbray's side, it's been three defeats from three in all competitions.

The pre-season promised so much for Sunderland, but they've since been beaten by both Ipswich Town and Preston in the Championship, and by Crewe Alexandra in the Carabao Cup.

Rotherham United are next on the agenda. They've taken one point from their opening two league fixtures this season - against Blackburn Rovers last time out.

They narrowly avoided the drop last time round and are expected to struggle again this season, so the Black Cats will surely view this as a winnable fixture.

Sunderland currently sit in 21st place of the table and Rotherham in 20th.
