Jack Clarke looks ahead to Luton Town fixtures as Sunderland ready for play-offs

Sunderland are in the Championship play-offs, and they have the performances of Jack Clarke to thank for that.
It's of course been a huge team effort. But there's been some sublime individual performances across the course of the 2022/23 campaign and the efforts of Clarke have gone a long way to securing Sunderland a place in the top six.
The 22-year-old has recorded 20 goal contributions in the Championship this season, having missed just one league game throughout.
And speaking to ChronicleLive ahead of Sunderland's play-off semi-final first leg v Luton Town this weekend, the former Spurs and Leeds United man said:
"Us as a group we always thought we could get in there [the top six] and deserved to be in there. To get in there and cement our spot in the play-offs is a big achievement for us as a team, a big achievement as a club, especially with the amount of injuries and setbacks we've had this year.
"Now we are going to go off and take a bit of time to prepare and recover for the game on Saturday. We have had two good results against them this season, we've drawn twice, and we'll build on that."
The last four times that Sunderland and Luton Town have met, the game has ended 1-1.
Their last meeting came in March at the Stadium of Light where Amad Diallo rescued a point with a late penalty.
Clarke continued:
"Obviously we want to go out there and set our stall, win the games and get ourselves to Wembley, but we're not thinking that far ahead. We will go into Saturday fully prepped and see what the game brings."
Saturday's game kicks off at 5:30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Tony Mowbray will be praying that Clarke can show the form that he's shown all season and fire Sunderland one step closer to Wembley.
