Number of Sunderland fans travelling to Sheffield Wednesday revealed

Sunderland head to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Friday night.
Sunderland make the journey down to South Yorkshire to face Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
The Black Cats sit in 5th place of the table as things stand, compared to Wednesday in last place and on just two points for the season.
Tony Mowbray's side will be expecting another win whilst his opposing manager on Friday, Xisco Munoz, arguably needs a win to stay in his current job.
And Mowbray's men will be backed by a sold out away end at the historic Hillsborough ground on Friday, with 3,605 Sunderland fans making the trip.
The club announced today that the Wednesday trip is sold out after the Yorkshire club made another 1,205 tickets for the game available online.
A memorable night for Sunderland?
Sunderland playing on Sky Sports is always a spectacle.
The club is certainly enjoying a promising era under Mowbray and it looks like another promising season is in store for Sunderland, who lost their opening two league games of the season.
But those games look long behind them now and despite defeat in their last outing v Cardiff City, optimism at Sunderland seemingly remains very high.
Wednesday have a huge task ahead of them on Friday but it won't be easy for Sunderland either.
Kick off is at 8pm.
