Projecting where Clemson players will be drafted Thursday night

Here is your guide to where Clemson's former stars could be drafted.

With the NFL Draft imminent on Thursday night Clemson fans all around the country will be watching to see where a handful of dedicated Tigers will continue the next steps in their career. While last season saw just two Tigers drafted the 2023 draft looks to be shaping up to be a dramatically different outcome.

NFL Mock Draft Database compiles information from 73 different big boards across the web and uses all of that data to try and pinpoint the most likely spot where players will be drafted.

Myles Murphy, the best prospect on Clemson's roster last season, appears to be destined for the first round with a percentage first-round mock at 95.7%. The consensus pick was at #20 to Seattle but one mock draft took him as high as #4 overall.

Bryan Bresee is hanging on to his first-round stock as his final consensus lands him at 29th overall to the New Orleans Saints. The defensive lineman has a peak pick as high as #6 overall and was chosen in the first round in 82.6% of drafts.

Trent Simpson is an athletic freak at linebacker but as of now, he looks to be falling into the second round with only 46.9% of 1st round mock selections. Even though his peak appears to be #19 overall the consensus is #48 to the Detroit Lions.

KJ Henry, the former 5-star prospect, is the one guy for Clemson that could vary wildly depending on whether he can get a team to fall in love with him or not. Despite him being a projected 5th-round pick the site actually still has about 1.9% of drafts taking him in the first round. It's certainly not expected but that will be a player Clemson fans and coaches can root for to go higher than many projects.

Tight end Davis Allen is also a projected 5th-round pick while offensive lineman Jordan McFadden looks to be selected in the 6th and wide receiver Joseph Ngata, as of now, could be an undrafted free agent.

7 potential players over 3 days for the Clemson Tigers would be a huge result for Coach Dabo Swinney and this Tiger program. The mocks have been set and now it's time for the real thing.
