Kristopher Jones Announces Decision Date
Kristopher Jones, one of the nation’s premier prospects at the inside linebacker position has confirmed to Dawgs Daily that he’s ready to make his college commitment announcement known. The 2024 4-Star inside backer has a final three of Michigan State, Georgia, and Florida.
He will choose between the three schools live on The Film Guy Network, Sunday, July 30th at 7 PM. Subscribe now, and don’t miss the announcement. We caught up with Jones to preview his decision.
Kristopher Jones on visit with Mel Tucker and Michigan State:
"He's a great man. You know, he just spent time with me my brother, my trainer, and just spoke with us for a few minutes. And you know, he's just a great guy here. And he welcomed me, my dad and my brother, my trainer, and you know, just give us you know, few rundowns about the team and about the culture."
Jones spent an exorbitant about of time in Gainesville visiting the Florida Gators and that Billy Napier-led coaching staff. He spoke very highly about it when previewing his decision.
"Florida is just an amazing place. They treated me and my family well, every time we go down there for a visit, not just the coaches, but people around the facility, people that work with recruitment just treated us like family. And it was just a good time every time we went down to Gainesville."
Jones talked about the history of linebackers that Georgia has produced:
"Just freaks of nature, you know, they are just freak athletes. They also know the game as well, you know, the development at Georgia is just crazy, you know, being coached by one of the best, if not the best, linebacker coaches in all college football."
As for the loaded depth chart at Georgia, Jones seems as if he wouldn't mind:
"No, because you know, if I go out there and do what I'm supposed to do Coach Schumann playing time is going to be there."
