Kadyn Proctor thrilled Hawkeye Nation back in January when he transferred from Alabama to Iowa. A few months later, a report by The Athletic's Scott Dochterman indicated he was on the move again.

A little bit later, On3 reported that the former high school All-American was headed back Alabama.

Proctor competed as a true freshman at starting left tackle for a Crimson Tide team that reached the College Football Playoff last season. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team.

Pro Football Focus graded him as the top offensive lineman in the semifinals. Then Alabama coach Nick Saban retired. Shortly after that development, Proctor entered the portal.
