2025 Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic guard Isaac Carr has committed to the Oregon Ducks. He announced his commitment over social media on Thursday.

"Staying home. #committed #scoducks," Carr wrote in a social media post.

Carr is rated a three-star (0.8977) recruit according to the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 180 player nationally, the No. 31 shooting guard and the No. 1 recruit in the state of Oregon.

During his recruitment Carr reeled in 13 reported scholarship offers from schools like Oregon State, San Francisco and Stanford among others.

His pledge to Oregon marks the second straight year Dana Altman and the Ducks have landed a commitment from the No. 1 player in the state, following in the footsteps of Jackson Shelstad, an elite 2023 point guard from West Linn.

Evaluation from Michael Visenburg of Pro Insight

Isaac Carr is around 6'4", good scoring guard with playmaking ability. He has been one of the best all-around shooters in Oregon, who has improved a lot off the bounce and just keeps getting better as a facilitator.

He keeps gaining more strength and really worked on his ability to get to the line and finish around the basket. The Portland native was a leader for Central Catholic last season and this year will have them in the running for a state title.

Expect a huge year and other schools were taking notice of not only how much of an offensive force he had become, but his overall development.
