The newest episode of 'The Payoff Pitch' Podcast is out!

Each week, our own Brady Farkas discusses the biggest stories in baseball from the last week.

This week, Brady discusses the Wander Franco controversial "glove flip" against the Pittsburgh Pirates and why he's fine with it -- but there will be a price to pay. Bryan Reynolds of the Pirates certainly wasn't fine with it.

He also talks about the scary Ryan Yarbrough incident in which the Kansas City Royals pitcher was hit in the face by a line drive. Yarbrough has been diagnosed with multiple facial fractures but isn't expected to need surgery.

He then dives into a conversation with Jon Shestakofsky of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, talking about the commissioning of the USS Cooperstown, the upcoming Hall of Fame Classic, how artifacts are selected and preserved and if the WBC will eventually become part of a players plaque.

He then moves to a segment on why the Boston Red Sox are better than we thought they would be (21-16 entering play on Wednesday) and some scheduling notes that include information about the 2024 London Series, Mexico City games and the MLB Draft.
