It's Wednesday, so that means that the latest edition of 'The Payoff Pitch' podcast is HERE!

Our own Brady Farkas from Fastball on FanNation is back, as he is every week, with the biggest news in baseball and some of the best interviews around.

In today's episode, he discusses:

1) Reds fans apparently hate Joey Votto. A recent facebook post was put up about Votto coming back from his injury, and it was met with a lot of disdain for the longtime first baseman. How could that be? Brady discusses.

2) Brady discusses the idea of team-building. Some teams have spent and been great, some teams have spent and been awful, some teams have made no big moves and it's backfired while others made no big moves are thriving. Brady discusses the beautiful frustration of the sport.

3) The Boston Red Sox might bring Trevor Story back before he's ready to play defense. What does this mean for the Red Sox lineup and the Red Sox defensive alignment?

4) Stephen Strasburg has been told to stop all physical activity after sustaining "severe nerve damage." We look at his career overall and talk about how injuries have robbed him of even more greatness.

5) And finally, Brady talks with former Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson and acclaimed photographer Jean Fruth. He learns about their careers, perspectives and experiences, but also hears about their initiative, GrassRoots Baseball
