Players have reported to spring training, and spring training games will start being played later this week.

The St. Louis Cardinals will play their first spring training game Saturday, February 25 at their spring training home in Jupiter, Florida at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. They will host the Washington Nationals in both teams' first Grapefruit League game of the spring.

Here's a look at the Cardinals' entire spring training schedule for 2023:

The Cardinals will play an exhibition game against Team Nicaragua March 9 in the lead-up to 2023 World Baseball Classic.

20 of the Cardinals' spring training games will be available for viewing, with most of the broadcasts airing on Bally Sports Midwest. Other telecasts will land on ESPN, MLB.TV, YES Network and SNY.

Here's a look at the Cardinals' television and radio broadcast schedule:

For the first time since 2003, the Cardinals will be without All-Star, Gold Glove catcher and leader Yadier Molina, who, along with three-time National League MVP Albert Pujols, played their final game for the Cardinals last October, falling to the Philadelphia Phillies in two games, at Busch Stadium, in the National League Wild Card Series.

With Molina out, the Cardinals found a replacement on the open market, signing free agent and former Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras to a five-year, $87.5 million contract. Contreras crossed enemy lines to join a division rival, in the Cardinals quest to repeat as National League Central division champions. The Cardinals, coming off a 93-win season, have not repeated as NL Central champs since winning the division in three straight seasons from 2013 through 2015.

The Cardinals also lost starting pitcher Jose Quintana, who posted a 2.01 ERA in 12 starts with the club, after he was acquired from the Pittsburgh Pirates prior to the trade deadline last summer.
