What's the Preseason Plan for Top Rookie QBs?

See how each team is expected to approach the preseason with their highly drafted quarterbacks.

The 2023 NFL Draft class featured an intriguing quarterback class full of compelling storylines, with four passers coming off the board in the top four picks, and one of the bigger names sliding all the way out of the first round.

Alabama's Bryce Young was the No. 1 overall pick to the Carolina Panthers, followed by Ohio State's C.J. Stroud to the Houston Texans at No. 2. Florida's Anthony Richardson went to the Indianapolis Colts at the No. 4 spot, while Kentucky's Will Levis fell to Day 2 before being snatched up by the Tennessee Titans.

Stroud made his preseason debut Thursday night against the New England Patriots as the starter for Houston, but what's the plan for the rest of those top quarterback prospects this preseason?

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently broke down what to expect from Young, Richardson and Levis as their first preseason gets underway:

Stroud only played two series Thursday night, and his performance was a mixed bag that included a rough interception to New England's Jalen Mills.

No doubt the rest of this year's top quarterbacks will also take their share of rookie lumps as they finally see some game action, but the sky is still the limit for these talented signal-callers.
