Steelers Ready to Make QB Splash

The Pittsburgh Steelers have an easy option as their quarterback trade.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have a few "splash" options at quarterback this offseason. They can make it as simple as giving Mason Rudolph a payday and telling him he's their quarterback. Or, it can be as large as going out to acquire a star and looking for that talent to be their next franchise passer.

The door is now open for all options.

Steelers President Art Rooney II recently said the team isn't closing the door on the possibility of trading for a quarterback. It makes a lot of sense if they do, with two names being at the top of that list. One, however, sits much higher than the other.

The Steelers should look into a move via trade. If they are serious about ending their playoff drought and returning to dominant Pittsburgh football, it's the best and highest-reward way to go about it.

And one name should be at the top of their list with more return on investment than any other.
